We strive to fellowship Gods family by incorporating them into our membership.

 

New Convert Care

         Water Baptisms

 

On a monthly basis, we celebrate a special baptismal service.  This service is a very exciting way to share your New Birth experience with your friends and family.  We baptize according to Gods plan:  by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  During the service, each person who has been baptized will receive a certificate commemorating this special event.

 

         Holy Spirit Baptisms

 

The Holy Spirit is a free gift from God to every person who comes to Him in obedience.  This special gift is evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.  We present a certificate commemorating this special event.

 

         Membership 101 Class

The purpose of this class is to lead people to Christ and membership at Peace Tabernacle.

 

Membership Care

 

         Communion

 

On a quarterly basis, we remember the Lords death, burial, and resurrecting by hosting a special communion service.  You are invited to join us in partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine during this intimate, moving service.

 

         Foot Washing

 

During the annual Year End Service, we celebrate servant hood by hosting a foot washing service.  You are invited to join us as we pray for each other in a very humbling and moving service.

 

         Church Social Events

 

Church wide social events are always a fun way to get acquainted with other members.   In the summertime, we get together to celebrate Independence Day, and at Christmastime, we host a banquet to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

 

         Counseling

 

Pastor Frank offers pastoral counseling by appointment.   A marriage mentor is also available to members, using the Prepare-Enrich program.  The Prepare-Enrich program is used for premarital preparation and marriage enrichment.  Prepare-Enrich includes a comprehensive couple assessment along with feedback using skills building exercises.

 

 

         Benevolence

 

We love each member of our church and make their needs a priority.  Events such as funerals, hospital visits, weddings, births, or graduations are all encompassed in our efforts to show Gods love.  A benevolence committee reviews outside requests for assistance from non-members.   
   

Friendship Groups

 

Small groups are an important part of our church.  These groups meet on a monthly basis, from house to house.  We share an edification, pray together, and fellowship one another to forge strong connections within the Peace Tabernacle family.  To join a Friendship Group, please contact us for information about the next meeting.
